Good News Lutheran Church is a Lutheran congregation in southeast Bexar County. Good News is a place where everyone is welcome and invited to join us in worship and serving in God's world. We intentionally seek to share the Good News of God's love through word and deed with everyone.
About the Good News Cross
At the front of our worship space is a cross designed by the daughter of the founding pastor, Rev. Glen Moehring. The cross incorporates three elements: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Cross represents Jesus Christ through who we have salvation and in whose name we worship.The Hand signifies the right hand of God, the Father - the one who created us and all this is, who blesses this creation, and who is our loving Father in heaven.The Dove is a traditional symbol of the Holy Spirit. This Spirit dwells in us, assists us in prayer, guides us in the way of Christian living, and calls forth our gifts and truest selves.
